Admission Requirements:
Paramedic
- Complete and sign an application, including payment of the registration fee.
- Pass a background check by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) (Level II)1.
- Pass and have current (within 60 days) 10-panel drug screen1.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Proof of high school graduation (diploma or transcripts); or successful completion of the General Education Tests (GED). Transcripts from an Associate degree or higher program from an accredited college or university may satisfy the high school requirement. Acceptance of any of the listed above documents is at the sole discretion of the Institution.
- Current License as a Florida State EMT.
- Valid Driver’s license or government-issued photo ID.
- Have a current physical (within the past 12 months) signed by a physician.
- Have current PPD, proof of Titers
- Proof of immunizations, MMR, Tetanus, DTAP, Hep B or Waiver, Flu shot.
- Proof of current AHA BLS card must remain current throughout the course.
EMT

Payment Plan
Paramedic: In addition to accepting full payment by check, money order, or credit card, Ricky Rescue Training Academy offers an in-house, interest-free payment plan. An initial payment of $1,000 is due upon enrollment, with the remaining balance divided into twelve equal monthly payments.
EMT: In addition to accepting full payment by check, money order, or credit card, Ricky Rescue Training Academy offers an in-house, interest-free payment plan. An initial payment of $500 is due upon enrollment, with the remaining balance divided into four equal monthly payments.
